Galápagos

This activity (Activity 14.1 in Book 5) will take you on a virtual field trip to the Galápagos islands. You will be able to make observations on a variety of the animals and plants found there. You will explore the important biological concept of adaptation, and will identify relationships between the appearance of an organism and its lifestyle, diet and habitat. Finally, you will study natural selection in a group of birds that had a great influence on Charles Darwin when he returned from collecting specimens in Galápagos.
