This video demonstrates some important aspects of chemical reactions and forms part of Activity 9.1 which comes at the beginning of Book 4, Chapter 9. The activity consists of three tasks:
Task 1. observing energy changes in reactions.
Task 2. what effects do temperature and concentration have on a chemical reaction?
Task 3. what effect does a catalyst have on a chemical reaction?
The important ideas from this activity are discussed in detail as you work through Chapter 9.

(Note that the term 'concentration' is used in the video, and this refers to the amount of substance dissolved in a given volume of solution.)
